nah, they are too boring not my style.. I already got a random seo/webmaster blog .. I think I might make a blog about css but I got a quick question if I buy something like cssnews.com will people think it's css designing or counter strike source news?
I have a blog on my website called the dogblog. I just put funny stories and anecdotes about dogs on there. I don't let people post directly to the blog as it's constantly bombarded by spammers. People can send in their comments if they want to.
just blog about things you found in/under/behind you couch and make some theories out how it found his way there
You need to blog about something you enjoy otherwise you will loose interest and blog will become stale.
Definitely, readers can also tell whether you are passionate about the topic or just doing it to make some money from adsense and such.
I personally am a big fan of "House " Music. I could talk about it for days, DJ's old and new, some of the best Club Anthems, the hottest artists, the history of house, Different Clubs...everything. So if I were going to blog for personal reasons, that would be it, and I would never run out of subject matter. It would take me months just to go from post Disco, through the driving baselines, of punk and alternative, travel through the 80's and 90's, till today. I could spend 6 or 7 posts alone on the relationship of House to Gospel music. I am sure there is something that you enjoy as much, that would please you to write content about.
For myself, i blog on a variety of topics (on different blogs). I think what is important is that you have genuine interest in what you blog about - only then will your personality show in your writing, and that is what gets people back to read your updates.
