Keyword stuffing is bad right? But what if you stuff keywords that make sense together in one long tail keyword?
Keyword stuffing is harmful in any way either you stuff your article with long-tail keywords, LSI keywords or any other keywords. Google knows how to detect it. The best thing is to choose 1 keyword you want the page to rank for and use it along with a couple of long-tail keywords + some LSI keywords. The key thing is not to overdo.
You can also google your keyword and have a look at the top 10 pages that rank for it, and see how many times they use the keyword in their content on average. Don't use the keyword more or less than the average of the pages you compete with. Sometimes it is better to use a keyword 1-3 times, other times it is better to use it more than that. It also depends on the competition and what google wants to see for that keyword in particular so look at your top competitors and see what Google has decided to rank on the front page for your particular keyword.
Keyword stuffing is not bad as it makes your visitors get full information of what they want inside your webpage itself. For example, if they visiting the website for content " what is meant by digital marketing", surely the content has some info about seo, but they dont understand properly. If you stuff seo to other content to your website itself, they will get the relevant info in your webpage itself.
