    HI,
Iam looking for a Native English writer.
If English is your second language, I probably write better than you. So do not contact me.

    If you can write in

    Wordpress
    Digital marketing

Then I will be interested in trial you out.

I will also need to have a voice chat on Skype before any order placed. ....And we have lots.

    Cheers

You are probably the ONLY non-native English writer on DP that can pass for being a native English writer. And I also believe that 90% of the "native" English writers on DP CANNOT write even acceptable English, much less good English.

Back in 2012 I hired a non native English writer from India to do an article. After awhile I referred this writer to others as well. None of us ever had to edit or spellcheck his articles. His first language is Hindi, I found this writer right here on DP.

Just by the way speaking... English is my second language but I've lived in Canada since I was 14 y/o and I'm definitely fluent.

So, when hiring people I think it's better to ask if they're are "fluent" than if it's they are "native" speakers. IMHO. Just my 2 cents :)

Most non-native speakers think they are fluent when they are not. Just because they can function in a non-native language is not a yardstick to judge them by.

Asking for fluent writers will generate way too many applications to sort through. Asking for native writers limits the pool to a more manageable size.

If a person really believes that he can do the job, even if non-native, that person should definitely apply. There a lots of people that are native to more than one language simply because the societies in which they grew up used multiple languages every day. For example lots of Canadians are native speakers of both English and French. The same goes for many areas of the world where linguistic borders overlap.

Other exampes are Basque/Spanish in Spain, Catalan/Spanish in Spain, Flemish/French in France, Dutch/Flemish in Belgium/Holland, Rumantsch/German/Italian in Switzerland, German/Italian/French in Switzerland, and so on throughout the world.

There are a lot of decent writers on DP (both native and non-native) but they've gone into hiding or quit posting altogether and it's hard to blame them. The majority of the posts here want content mill slaves. Hell, even content mills like Textbroker and iWriter pay more than a lot of the filth I've seen posted around here lately (not talking about the OP). I just wanted to let you know that some decent writers are still here. They've just abandoned all hope for finding stable work here that doesn't pay worse than peanuts.

Not going to happen. He is busy and not always easy to get a hold of. The last thing that I would do is to give him even more business so that he is even harder to get a hold of. You see it's all about me.;)

Hmmm, interesting. I haven't thought of it that way! Will keep this in mind for when I will be hiring writers myself.

Each and every post this good man makes is full of...wisdom when it comes to most content writing requests. And I'm not ironic at all.
