    We just guest post for free and it works fine. In return we get some good links too. Why would it be expensive?

    If you buy, then guest post will be expensive. If you search in Google you will get more free guest post link or site.

    Guest post is a part of link building. When I was working on link building I never paid any money for a guest post and always got free links. Yet, I needed to give something in return, a free content, product license or to link back to their website for example.

    Sure, numbers can vary from $5 to $500 for a guest post link, but always try to get it for free. :)
