I am slightly confused of measuring the google SERP results. Can you please explain whether there is any criteria to put results by google in SERP like which kind of website would be in 1,2,3 position and what on 4,5,6 and what on 7,8,9 and 10.

According to me there must be having a specific criteria or algorithm to represent data in SERP by google, pls let me know whether you have any knowledge.

You have years of reading and experimenting ahead of you.
Google don't publish their algorithm and it's constantly changing as they try to balance out
    • search phrase
    • user's search history
    • user's location
    • quality of the content on the page
    • "authority of the page"
    • do they advertise with adwords
    • how frequently your site is clicked on when viewed
consider the following search plumbing valves versus plumbing chiswick
the first might return how to pages or suppliers while the latter will return actual plumbers in that part of London, UK. However, since Google knows I'm not in London it might make another decision and serve up something else.

So, there's no easy answer, you will have to do a stack of leg work that is relevant to the site you want to promote.

    Keywords domains and subdomain
    Domain registration

No one can tell you that. Whether are you going to rank in 1 or 100. The site better optimized and having good links will rank higher and others won't. And also its not permanent, its continuously changing.

Why are worry about Google algorithm it is not in public rather than this you should work for your audience think they will stick around your site build a strategy around this and implement and analyze your results and re-build your stragies where you find the gap in your previous work
