reflected on all datacenters? Most of the centers show my new pr, but ther are quite a few that still show the old pr. Am I the only one? It seems like the next update will be here before the last update is fully complete. Thoughts?

I feel your pain - my PR goes up and down more often than Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan during a night on the town :D I was wondering the same thing?? Seems like the next update is due (hopefully soon) and the DCs still have yet to fully reflect the last one...

I think someone should create a sticky post as this is the most discussed topic when it comes to web management.

If you can see your PR then understand that Google has been working with it long before you find out what it is. Google actually calculates your PR on a robot search basis they just don't disseminate that information often - 3-4 months is the expected time frame.

So, in other words stop worrying about it and keep doing what you should be doing - getting good quality backlinks and writing great content.

Yes it will be reflected on all datacentres eventually. Matt Cutts has blog about this previously.

The old datacentres that have not migrated to the new "Big Daddy" infrastructure are still showing old PR values.

To me it looks like a cheap and easy way for them to disrupt the link sales market :)

Checked my site from iwebtool, all data centers still show my old PR. Somebody say the next update will be the end of this month, while others say it will be the medium of Jan.

Who knows to tell you the truth google is doing a lot of things in the background right now it might take a while for things to gradually get back to normal. With th amount of reports of new features in google glimpsed by users it might even be an update in the PR algorithm.

    Thank you

I understand all that and I definately do not want to start a whole pr debate/discussion/etc. However, I was curious to know since some sites like to see a certain pagerank before they will exchange links. I tell them my site is a pr4, but then many times they are seeing pr3. So, I have to go and explain to them the situation. Also, when my site is accepted into a directory that displays pr, it sometimes shows as pr3. I know pr is calculated continuously and toolbar pr is outdated, blah, blah, blah. And, I know that for the most part, pagerank 'means nothing', but I just want my pr4! I earned it! :D  :p
