    Hi,
I live in the UK and i was wondering if there's someway i could transfer the money i earn on the Amazon.com assosiattes program.

I tried to do direct deposit but it says you need a bank account in the USA. So i chose by Check but i don't think my bank allows me to recieve checks in US Dollars.

So what else can i do?

    Hi,

You can pay your cheque directly into your UK bank account, but it might cost anything up to £10, which might be quite a high percentage of the cheque's value. If you don't earn that much from them, then let the cash build up and then take it to the bank IMHO!

I live neither in the US or UK, but have been Associates of both Amazon US and Amazon UK (DE & FR too) for about 5 years now.

My bank received the both currency checks, takes them up to a 1 1/2 months to get it cleared, and charges a small amount in service fees.

Other than that I also get checks from CJ, BeFree, ShareaSale and a couple of other affiliate merchants under the same procedure.

I'm sure your bank will be obliged to do the same.

    Hi,
Okay thanks. I am with a bank in the UK called Abbey National. Has anyone tried them before and knows if they accept checks in US dollars (maybe from personal experience)?

Any UK bank will accept any currency.

They will convert it acording to the current exchange rates and probably charge a small fee.

Best to ask the bank how much the fee is.

I'm with the Abbey too, and it used cost about £8 or £9 pounds per cheque, but I don't do it now as I use the .co.uk affiiliate.

There's and awesome form to fill out, and it used to take a good week or even more before the funds would appear in my account.
