Hello everyone! A question about links: if I include a link to a site that I have hosted with my signature will spiders find this and will it therefore result in search engine placement? I am considering this on Forums and anywhere else that is found to be noteworthy. For example does a spider crawl to locate on YouTube, etc. ? Lastly, is there any gain in listing on search engines for people just clicking on my signature link i.e. on a forum like this one? Thank you, JoshuaEir Edit: I'm from the United States.
That's an outdated SEO tactic. Maybe spiders will find them, but you'll probably get very little utility (if any) from them.
