Guys, does the word "network" frighten you away as a publisher/media buyer when it's first time introduced to you? Would you react better and trust more if you meet a rep from "marketing agency"/"affiliate platform"/"user acquisition solutions"/whatever/ and you know that you actually deal with an affiliate network? On condition that you hear of the network for the first time and don't know anything about it. Share your opinions, please!
"Network" is okay, though what I am accustomed to hearing is "Advertising Platform" these days. But the sales reps will say "ad network" during the conversation and it is not a problem. All the same to me as an ad buyer.
'Networks' may sound suspicious to those who have had some negative experience. But it is extremely popular and widely used. So I guess it mus be ok.
Network is actually a great word to me, it gives me the feeling of brotherhood in a since. Not all networks are good, and not all brotherhoods are good also. Do research and check the network out.
