Starting an deals website.

I have idea to start deals website like SlickDeals, Brad'sDeals, DealsNews. I already bought template, and making redesign of that template. But as i am not living in US, it's a bit hard to understand what people want, what they think about deals sites, and how they use it.

So what you think about it? Which is the main feature that i need think about, what to change, what to add, delete.
But the main question is --- it is worth to build and develop this idea?)

You need to do some research, you need to know the US holidays, when are usual sales dates happens, like for example the famous Black Friday Sale.

I'm confused as to why you want to do this.... You admittedly don't understand the market or how to market to the audience and you aren't secure in the potential... Why do you want to do this? Start there... Personally I think the market is saturated and there won't be much of a reward in this for you... You should stick to what you know and what interests you and only execute when you feel confident in the potential.

 

You can start with household&kitchen accessories.

 

You need to know all the sources where you could target your potential consumers and you should have a decent advertising budget as well. Yes, Start with a niche category product that has good/decent demand.
