Just an update to say I am aware of the new entries. My client has been away today and it's now approaching 22:40pm our time, so we will provide feedback on each entry in the morning.

In my design I made a bird which seems like throwing away sheets (as if it's leaving a path of pages from a book aka leaving a story behind)

The first design has caught her eye somewhat. She likes that you have thought of something different but we are not sure what the graphic is trying to represent. You definitely have a nice use of colour, it looks great on both light and dark backgrounds.

 

Thanks for your entries. This design was an instant no. The graphic is just strange looking. I can't really give more feedback than this, it's just not what she is looking for.

 

Thanks for your entries, We can see you used your imagination to come up with something unique but it's not what she is looking for. She said it was a nice try but she wouldn't use that to represent her business.

 

Thanks for this entry. Unfortunately it looks like 3 pieces of clip art stuck together. I get you are looking at travel and stories combined in a graphic but it's too literal and just doesn't work for her

She has said that this is one of her top three so far.

However, the bird does look a little bit too much like the twitter logo, so perhaps think about trying to revise the shape of the bird a little, while maintaining the tail.

Also, she has mentioned that it would be nice have a different colour for the bird, with the "tail" blending into the text colour. She suggests the centre colour in the colour palette supplied in the first post. (It's a nice rich purple colour.)

She would also like to see how you envision it looking on a darker background. And can we see the logo flat, rather than it being embossed in your example. (Just so we can see what it will really look like on a computer screen.

She does like the font... The capital S especially.

She said this is a very good try and she appreciates the thought you have put into it.

Unfortunately, the execution of the graphic leaves us thinking it looks like a boat (catamaran) in the water. Your presentation of the logo is excellent, thanks for that extra effort.

At the moment with the graphic as it stands, it won't win, but she would like you to try and come up some other ideas for the graphic.

She did say that despite the logo still needing work, she did say you were one of her favourite entrants due to the way you think and the way you clearly understand design, as shown in your presentation of your work.

The font is something I personally like, but she has had some doubts over the font. If you have other font ideas, they would also be appreciated.

The parrot made us laugh. It's cute but it can't be the image of the company.
Your other effort just doesn't feel original enough for her. It's a little generic looking and doesn't stand out to her I'm afraid.

 

Thanks for your entry, but it just doesn't work for us. A penguin really misses the mark when it comes to displaying "freedom" being a bird that can't fly, and we can't understand what it's standing on.

This doesn't fit our brief I'm afraid.
