I'd probably wait until the spring and keep it in nice shape. All of the prices are sky high now with all this snowy weather up here.
The funny thing here is that snowblowers are one of the few items that never seem to go on sales or lower their prices. I did try to wait until the Spring and then had trouble even finding a snowblower because they had all been put in storage in favor of lawnmowers.
People always seem to have them for sale on Facebook but most of them are "fixer-upper" opportunities and even money sinks. You never know what you're going to get from one of those guys!
Cannot imagine shoveling the snow we typically get up here in New England. It is hard enough to snowblow it clear throughout the winter and my driveway and sidewalk are daunting. Not sure my back could handle the shovelling. Getting back to the Super Bowl, the spread right now seems to be Patriots -5 against the Eagles. Though I heard that one millionaire bet big money on the Eagles winning as soon as the spread came out. NE has been so spotty this year, that I am not sure what is going to happen. They made an art form out of coming back in the second half, but it is a nerve-wracking game when they do it and comebacks like they did last year at the Superbowl are few and far between.
Amazon's Alexa has predicted the Eagles will beat the Patriots. Now you know. Get a manual snow plow:
Good to have the final word on the game now. I suspect that this could be another exciting, up and down game. Would like to hear on Gronk. That snow "toy" would be good for about an inch, maybe two at most. We don't even bother with that little snow up here. At 3 inches, I start thinking about clearing it out.
Andrew Luck was called the Comeback Kid before his injury. I understand how tense those kind of games are for the local fans. It can't last forever though. I believe I'll be supporting the Eagles this year.
He was at the Pats practice on Saturday which is encouraging for the New England. Their offense is a lot with him.
True. He does contribute a lot. But considering the offense that NE has, I think his not being in the game would absolutely make the difference between win & lose.
If Gronk does not play, that means that Brady will be without his two favorite/best receivers: him and Edelman (who has been out all season, pretty much.) Of course, he has many others and Amendola has really stepped up to replace Edelman in key plays, but it will be a handicap. Even if Gronk is not being targeted for passes a lot by Brady in any given game, his imposing presence usually requires double- and some times triple-coverage, thereby freeing up other targets.
Apparently, Gronk had limited practice yesterday which is Stage 4 of the five-stage Concussion protocol. It gave hope to quite a few sportswriters that he will be in the game. Certainly, at a minimum, the Eagles have to prepare as if he will be playing now.
So, Gronk said that he will be playing in the game. Despite that news, the point spread has tightened a bit to 4.5 points. I expect the game to be a real nail biter for the fans.
I'm hoping it's real tight myself. I do wonder though if the Pats are putting that info out about Gronk intentionally to throw the Eagles off.
It is possible that they are teasing Gronk to the Eagles, if only to make them have to plan for his being back in the game as a distraction to other things that they could be focusing on. Bellicheck likes to play with the opponent's heads. On the other hand, he might be ready to play. My guess is that even if he does take the field on Sunday that Brady will not do much with him until the 4th quarter when it could be time for a miracle again.
