multiple accounts and vpn proxies

    from RULES of DP:
    I agree with this rule, but how do you monitor users who are using vpn proxies...
    isn't it based on same ip??

    Just like Google doesn't reveal their anti-clickfraud methods, we protect our Intellectual Property too, in a bid to not give away hints about how to circumvent our counter 'terrorism' technology, policies and procedures.

    What matters is, duplicate accounts aren't allowed. Murdering someone isn't allowed either but that doesn't mean it's not possible to murder someone. It's up to the member whether or not to risk their membership and piss off the host.

    Yep... while it would be impossible to 100% catch all duplicate accounts, we have a pretty decent record at doing it. 1,000+ duplicate accounts banned to date (seriously). Chances are it won't last, and will result in all (including your first) account being terminated here.

    That's a great track record, I assume duplicate accounts are probably pretty common in a forum that includes such a busy marketplace. Good job :)
