    Not sure if there is a newer thread on this but was wondering if this holds true still. I am launching a political satire site where people ca share videos with an e-commerce component. We are spending about $300 to start our a/b testing. Is Facebook the best platform to advertise on with a lower budget. Also are the side bar or feed ads better? any thoughts would be appreciated :) as this type of site advertising is new to me

    I think Yes - FB will be a good platform as well as Twitter. I think both of them can be considered because FB gives you one of the best targeting and fight against fake accounts. At the same time there is a good %% of users who are interested in the politics.
    I think your choice is correct and all what you will have to do - target the campaign.
