Cyrpto Domains a good invest?

The cyrpto market is actually booming. What do you think about catching and selling crypto domains?

I`ve already got some crypto domains. It would be interesting for me to get your expert assessment, what they could be worth:

For crypto I really feel like it’s just another trend, but hey you might get lucky with one. Though I would stay away from long domains and domains with “-“ in them.

I really don’t see a company using any of these domains you’ve purchased sorry.

 

@macstux thx for your feedback! I thought the domains could be interesting for some niche site owner. Thank you also for the information with the "-". I don`t know that this kind of domains are unusual, cause in germany there are a lot of them.

 

Yes, they’re usually used for niche sites, but as a domainer it’s pretty hard trying to sell them to a business.

 

People usually don't like the domain with "-" in it.

 

Crypto, coin and blockchain type domains have been trending up a lot lately. There have been some good sales as well. For example: CryptoWorld.com recently sold for $195K. FinChain.com sold for $40K.

I do not suggest regging long domains or domains with dashes (-). It lowers the value significantly.

Whether you think this is a fad or not does not matter. If your goal is to make money, then you need to focus on your timing and strategy.

 

A great long-term investment I think, in the same way, cryptocurrencies are actually long-term investments.

 

I think they can be a good investment as I believe crypto is here to stay.

I also recommend to buy domains with ICO in it. ICO project are very popular now and I think they will be in the nearest future too.

They're a gamble in the sense that they are only valuable if the coin grows in worth/expands.
I like the fact that you've purchased domains around the stronger performing cryptos and stuck mostly to the dot.coms.
The bitcoin domains are still performing well though sites like Flippa.
For the most part I'd sell your inventory and stick to short.com domains - these have always performed well and will continue to in the future.

 

It's a good investment, but do not over-buy though, just keep it two words. Also, Google Adwords and Facebook ads will no longer accept crypto advertisements, this for sure will affect the popularity of crypto coins.

 

I think it is a good idea because everything realted to crypto is working nowadays.

Good domain will attract the buyer naturally, avoid hyphen when you plan to sell it to big company

 

I registed 666coin.com with name cheap and the registar stole it from me shame
