Wordpress Tags, yes or no ?

    There are many of plugins for wordpress,
    That can create a list of sentence from 1 word (related to post title).
    My question is the wordpress tags still "work" for SEO ?

    If you are using tags so there is no need to hide them and it is good practice to use similar tags.

    What kind of article justifies 40 tags?
    I'd say if it truly does you should reconsider if your article is really 10 separate articles

    I do not add tags to my posts with the SEO benefit in mind.

    In fact, I even add the "noindex" attribute to the tag pages. Otherwise, you will end up with 300 tags indexed in Google and only 20 posts.

    In my opinion, the WordPress tags should be only used to offer the visitor an easier way to finding other strong related posts, not with the goal that your tags will reach the first page of Google.

    Tags in WordPress website's posts will help users to find out the relative search results and if we give spam kind of keyword stuffing tags then there will be no use.
