Mine would have to be Bora Bora in the French Polynesia and Whistler up in Canada. It is okay to have more than one
The mountains are nice. Cool breezes, top of the world views.... I could vacation there indefinitely.
Taking the family out for vacation to Southern California in August. Not only is the weather great, but there is so much to do there from the theme parks, to Hollywood, to the beaches, etc., etc. I would not want to live there, but it is our favorite place to vacation and we tend to do so every few years. My wife would have preferred San Francisco, because she has never been there, but the kids were adamant about going back to SoCal.
How old are you??? I was born in 1968. I live right next to my vacation spot (40 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean) which I enjoy tremendously September through March. Would like to live somewhere up north April through August, though.
That's what I meant. This past summer the humidity was unbearable. 90%-100% almost every single day. My little one LOVES to play outside, but even she would get tired out in about 15 minutes in that heat and humidity.
Yeah, I figured it was a typo. Thinking about it, I probably do not have a pair of shoes from back then. However, if I did, they would have been platform shoes to match my bell bottom pants and Nehru jacket. I was just starting high school then and those were the fashions. I imagine that Bangkok was pretty wild back then, too.
I was born a good bit before 1960. Lived in Bangkok for a month in 1968. Also lived in Korat for a few months in 1968 & 1969. Visited Cambodia and Nakom Phenom (not sure if I remember that spelling correctly). Live was rather interesting back then.
