Proper way to write site title, description, tagline for Wordpress?

Hi everyone,

Can you help us out and let us know what is the proper way to set and write out the following for our site:

1. website title
2. website description
3- website tagline

We understand that in Wordpress's setting --> general setting section, we can set our site title and tagline, or we were also told we can Yoast's SEO plugin to set them. We are a bit confused which one to use, or we should do both?

If we ought to do it using Yoast plugin, which section can we perform this task? Because our site's landing page is a customized page, can we simply click edit page, and edit the snippet at Yoast plugin's field?

Does tagline means the same thing as website description? If not, where can we set our website description?

I personally don't prefer Yoast plugin. I prefer All in One seo Pack.

 

I am actually using both yoast and all in seo on my wordpress site. You should see it for yourself.

 

using both ? will that conflict ? i would prefer to go with all in one seo

" It should be less than 70 words and should start with your keyword and end with your domain name

for ex : Best Dry cleaners - drycleaners.com

Description :

It should contain your keyword

For ex :

Your search for best dry cleaners in texas ends at drycleaners.com . Now offering door deliver

Keywords :

Not so important , but you can include up to 5-6 keywords

 

That pretty much sums it up. One thing I'd add is that Yoast will show you the snippet as well. That is what the searcher reads when they see your link in the results. I think that is an important part, not just for SEO, but the "view" the potential visitor gets of the site before ever clicking on the link. It can make all the difference.

I am using all in seo plugin

title: 55-60 use character length (add your keyword in title)
Desc:- 155- 160 use character length (add your keyword in Description)
keyword:- google not used this but other search engine are consider.

 

Sounds good. If you think one isn't working you can always switch. No big deal.

 

70 words? not! Did you know shorter titles rank better compared to longer titles?

Wrong: my best vacuum review model number, serial number, more spam keywords....
(amazon sellers are notorious for using crazy spam filled titles....)

better: Best Product-name Review 2018

for best results, come up with some attention grabbing title that will draw in visitors.
your headline/title can certainly make the difference between fail and success....

a good writer should come up with 10+ headline/titles before making a decision
on which title would be best to use, or the one most likely to succeed....

using one wrong word or sentence can send you screaming as you crash and burn....

Tools are all the same the most important part is how can you write them properly because it will be the content's snippet in the search results. This will also determine your CTR in the search.
