Email addresses collected after someone picks up a digital product from DP?

    Hello, just wanted to ask as a fairly new member here on DP..

    When someone buys a digital good (mainly ebook) here
    are we able to collect that email address?

    Not sure if anyone else had the question as well.

    Would be very interested to know.. thanks in advance.

    I would suspect the answer would be no, unless seller sees buyer's PayPal email when seller receives payment through PayPal.

    ok, so not like the warrior forum or jvzoo where the seller collects the name and email
    to send the product.. guess always good to include your optin form within your product.

    The product is uploaded here and the seller doesn't need to "send" it. And as others have mentioned, you know the buyer's email since it's a Paypal transaction.
