Udimi & Purchasing Traffic

    Hello All,

I am a relative newbie to the online marketing space and wondered if anyone had any experience with paid traffic?

Specifically, I have recently discovered Udimi. Which is an online marketplace where you can purchase traffic.

Has anybody experience with using Udimi?
    - Are They Secure?
    - Does their traffic convert?
    - And any other information

    Would be greatly appreciated

Having researched further and just read the Unrivaled Review - it looks like you can expect to receive 1-2 sales from an solo ad. Just wondering before I place an order, has this been any of your experience?

Solo ad traffic is good for opt-ins, but, you cannot get sales every time you order the solo ad.

    Thank you.

Hey and nice to meet you. I have a sellers profile on Udimi
and have sold over 200 solo ads.

I don't really sell much there anymore because their click filtering
is extremely rigid,.. so for example, every 15 clicks that i send
actually show as 1 click on their tracking..

However, this is great for the buyer!

And it is very safe and secure. Not to mention you can rate your
    experience with the buyer afterwards.

Best advice would be to make sure your opt-in page is high
converting (atleast 35%) and that you have a nice funnel along
with it.. mainly, tons of love on the first email to the new subscriber
with a strong series of emails to follow to ensure some sales.

I also have a guide that i wrote myself all about making the most
out of solo ads.. When i get a chance i'll put it up here for members
    at no cost.

    Kris

I'd like to get your view of an opinion I recently read concerning solo ad vendors Kris.

The gist was that solo ad vendors keep two lists. One containing freebie seekers and the other containing buyers. The poster maintained that the vendor only sells solo ads from the freebie seeker list and keeps the buyer list for his own marketing activities.

    What do you say?

I've been of the opinion that solo ads work well if you know how to use them but I do see some potential logic in that.

    hey joe.. great question btw.

I think that used to be the case for some solo sellers. I know/knew a bunch of solo
    sellers and affiliates.
What i have found is that they go one way or the other now. Its too difficult
to just sell freebie traffic and keep a good reputation, especially on places
    like udimi.
Also many sellers get reviewed on popular facebook groups from the optin
rate, tier 1 traffic, and any front end or back end sales.

So i think for the most part sellers don't do that anymore.

It's funny you ask, i was just chatting with a couple guys who used
to sell back in the day and both of them have totally switched to
the affiliate side and promoting products.. Pretty much what i have done.

    lets keep in touch,
    Kris

Do you market solo ads as an affiliate?

I do know of one source that sends non-productive clicks and a number of people who've gotten scammed by them. The word did get out pretty quick in our group and we banned the promoters. I still see queries about them popping up now and then though so I guess they're still around.

I think you have a valid point about keeping a good reputation.

yeah joe, i think i know who you might be referring too.

and they advertise everywhere and also change their name and company name
(if we are thinking of the same person/company)..

they use fake clicks from a porn traffic site and optin random people
to their customers. Such a violation in so many ways.

i think you can affiliate for solos on some places, like udimi, think they have the
    option now.

I haven't seen the company name change so it might be a different bunch.

This one uses the allure of pretty girls as salespeople to attract customers. I imagine you'll recognize them by that statement.

I hadn't looked at doing solo ads as an affiliate myself. Might be an interesting option. I'd have to make sure I was promoting a solid and productive vendor though.

Yes, normally Joe. My username is a mixture of my name and my company name.
