i am very very depressed and tensed because at my website i had 10,000 visits per day, but don't i really know how to make money. all the traffic is indian, can any one suggest, how can i make some money from them ?? your help be a appreciated. thanks vikas
If you get 10K visitors a day your site obviously has content that people are interested in. Find products that relate to that content and market those products on your site. Also, create some content related products that you can give away, place them on optin pages and build a list of all those visitors. Start a newsletter based on the content they're interested in and mail it to your list. Put high-value information in the newsletter and on occasion insert a product ad.
Adsense could be one way to make a little money. Another way is to sell digital products such as ebooks.
I like google adsense as 1 of best easy way to make money online, so try that and experiment with other stuff to see what is working best for you friend.
10,000 visitors per day!! Wow! But how? In order to make money you shoul find products that relate to the content on your website and start marketing those products on your site.
i did this with amazon health products, individually posts related products in each related post, 12,000 hits but 1 sale only (and yes the site is indian home remedies in hindi language)..
Unfortunately, indian traffic is worthless in most situations because usually they are not interested in paying for anything. Last week, I had a conversation with some webmaster who is actively buying established sites. Nad he told me about his latest purchase - website with more than 90% of indian traffic. The site gets 30.000-40.000 visits per day and only makes a few hundreds of dollars per month (and all the income is from remaining 10% of traffic which is not indian). Needless to say, previous webmaster happily agreed to sell his site for $3.000 because he already know the traffic was worthless.
I'm not familiar with the traffic in India but if this is true it certainly explains the lack of conversions.
Be sure to sign up to Google Analytics and analyse your traffic; see where that traffic is coming and look at your demographics, interests. From here you can obtain a more accurate picture of what products would be suitable.
I used to have worldwide ads on adwords and quickly figured out that some traffic just doesn't convert. I wouldn't call it worthless, but it's just in some countries folks are not as eager to part with their money.
have you tried adding an incentive to the purchase to add value, or is that not viable for you? ...thinking out loud, it may help if the above is true and people in your targeted area are a bit frugal.
