I'm not a massive fan of the colour scheme to be honest. Also it is a bit too much on the cartoonish side for me.

I like the fonts used and how the text sits. I'm not a massive fan of the little face. The design definitely needs a logo on it though.

I like the simplistic style of it, but would need some colour in our logo.

Sorry I'm not a massive fan of the font. Very clever use of the glasses though.

Sorry I missed your logo out last time. Something just doesn't sit right with it for me, but I cannot put my finger on it.

I like the idea of using the power button for the "G", but the rest of the logo seems a bit cluttered to me.

That's very smart, but it looks a bit 'old skool' in the geek department.

Sorry that wouldn't fit in with the style of our website.

I am in the process of researching logos and ideas, to give you an idea of the direction I wish to take. It will be online within the hour. I will extend the contest if more time is required.

But its okay if you didn't accept my entry.

In my eyes it just looked similar, due to the glasses. I've seen your work on other contests, so know you're a very talented designer and all your work is unique Sorry if any offence was caused because that really wasn't my intention.

I am really sorry for missing you again. It wasn't intentional, I just lose track clicking the multi-quote buttons. I'm not a fan of font used in the second half of the logo. Also I don't think it directs enough to the theme of the website. I will post some guidelines to help in another post

 

I've typed up a guide to help you all out. I've done a bit of research and this is what I am looking for...

Guidelines

- 8 Bit influence with a modern twist .
- The logo should incorporate your take on elements from iconic video games (or consoles), movies or TV shows (you don’t have to include all three elements, unless you want to).
- The text does not have to all be in one font. One word can be in a different font to the other.
