Contest $50 logo design - 5 days

Hi,

I am looking for a logo for my website



The website sells movie and TV memorabilia + tech / gadget gifts. The whole mantra of the website is that 'geek gear' doesn't have to cost the earth.

I will be looking to maintain a working relationship with the winner of this contest, to design flyers, business cards and advertising material for this site and future projects.

Requirements:

- Logo must be supplied in either a layered PSD or AI file, with any required fonts.

Thanks for your submission. Unfortunately it's not what I am looking.

The business model is the sale of merchandise that is deemed 'Geeky', so like movie and TV merchandise (figurines, models, posters, prints) and gadgets (drones, 3D printers etc), so I am looking for something that embodies some of that.

Thanks for all the entries so far. I'll be jumping on the PC in the next couple of hours to provide feedback.

Some people prefer to submit their ideas via PM, so that their ideas are not being copied / influencing others. I have no issues with this at all. I was being "transparent" by advising that I had received submissions via PM and I did this so that if a PM'd design won, it wouldn't look like me just getting rid of the competition.

@ngodz @sharin and @]\/[ar]< are the ones who have submitted their designs via PM. I'm sure they would be happy to confirm that they have done so. I won't be asking them to post their designs, as they've chosen to submit them via PM and I respect their decision and appreciate their participation.

I trust this clarifies my position.

 

no problem via PM submission, as long it will be posted here upon winning the contest, for us to check if it's originally conception by the designer, or
just an easy copycat of other logo or stocks for sale.

Thank you for your entry. I really like the idea behind this one, but it really feels like it's missing something (but I cannot put my finger on what).

Thank you for your entry. I'm not a massive fan of the 'wiser' font if I'm being honest. Also I think the glasses and phone seem a bit off balance with the play sign and antenna.

Good take on the 'wise' owl. As I will be selling movie and tv memorabilia + gadgets, I don't think it would fit well with the websites theme, but it's a brilliant bit of thinking outside the box.

Of course, any winners logo will be posted in the thread if it is submitted via PM and it wins.
