    OMG...i freaking LOVE AoM.

In posts before i was asking whetehr to use aStore, or AoM.

After some hardcoding and some troubles with ASM2 php script i d/l the latest version of AoM...and i LOVE it. Its not even CLOSE to comparison

I STILL would like better integration into my current design, but this thing has LOTS of options and right now i am actually extremely satisfied with it.

Please check out my Anti Virus/Anti Spyware store i pulled up on my website using AoM http://www.theavlist.com

I have so many ideas for niche-stores now... :)

I did too. I had it for like 3 months with no sales whatsoever then I did some marketing and it started generating traffic + sales.

sorry for sounding dumb...means what exactly ?

Also...whats your opinion regarding google sitemaps ? Run a sitemap creator program and filter (WHAT ???))..or just limit number of pages crawled, say, 1000 or so..and then submit to google ?

As for now i deleted my googlesitemap

Dupe content kicks in for those using AOM with mall type.

Focus on small niche sites. Rather have 100 specialized mini stores than one huge mall type copy of Amazon.

Also make sure you provide fresh content. Put 3 paragraphs of related text on the main page instead of only links to sub-categories.

There is no holy grail, in order to get something out you need to put something in (work).

I'm doing horrible with Amazon, only my Tickle Me Elmo store generated some sales.Oh well, eventually I'll get a gift certificate and I'll spend it on a dvd or something.

I just put Amazon store on one of my sites... www.nintendoshop.net

I am worried about duplicate content, so i am going to include some reviews and on a few games/consoles. Do you think that will help much?

well for your case, I would say that the store will not be your focus peice, instead it will be used as a tool to sell your reviewed game..

You review the latest game, and tell them to buy it here and give some of the reviews from amazon..

i just posted something..i take the freedom to repeat this here in regards to duplicate content...NOTE i am not the SEO crack..so correct me if my assumptions are wrong:

    here:

    ----

Avoid duplicate content...supplementally indexing happens if you eg. have an amazon affiliate store, as i have a bunch. Do everything first in terms of SEO, and then check out the forum here...eg. i just found some helpful advice...if ANY POSSIBLE unique page titles, descriptions.

If ANY possible add your own unique content, if you're only a 1:1 copy of zillions of amazon stores then you wont have a good chance and your results will go into the supplemental.

You ARE limited if you use a pre-fabricated store software, eg. i use AoM..but there ARE options to turn on SEO and change/modify page-titles. So use them.

Add uniqe stuff on your page woith the amazon store, a forum, unique content, articles. Thats all i can say to that topic. PROBABLY dont pull the SAME exact identical reviews off amazon, you dont want duplicates. I dont pull reviews, i only pull product description relevant to the items i sell.

Change titles/headers in AoM so every product page does NOT come up with your page site name and slogan...i deleted those so every product page just has the product name as page-title. MUCH better then zillions of sites with the same identical site-slogan in the title.

Add: Regarding site-maps...i am playing/need input with that too. It would be good to create sitemaps so googlebot does not index your 3 MILLION amazon pages...it WILL, believe me. There are ways to create sitemaps, say limit them to max number, filter out stuff you dont want to get indexed. <-- if anyone has input there please let me know. I am sitting on this for a while already.

The 100% optimum solution of course would be use a custom store-software...pull nodes from amazon..and then SOMEHOW rewrite all the pages and product descriptions so they're not 1:1 copies off the amazon server.

    ---

You have SOME options..better than nothing...now speaking of AoM.

    Also...new posting....in general.

I get sales...slowly, slowly....i am starting to see money from adsense and i sell stuff on my AoM/astores. My RPT store looks it MIGHT become a good one.

I just wish the commision would be better.

I need more high quality/more expensive products and i am brainstorming again.....this is difficult since you need really A LOT of people buying A LOT because the commisions are so small..means traffic, traffic, traffic.

And..of course i 100% agree with the small niche store, HIGHLY specialized...and if possible something which gives you MORE than change in commisions. I have ideas tho :)

astore: Even worse...they wont get indexed AT ALL on your host, also not if you host them on YOUR host but have them in an iframe.

There are hacks (google for astore SEO) to call an astore from a php script on YOUR server with mod rewrites and spidereable :)

(The site was www.adbabel.com , check their free script out)

If i had a way to put my super-primitive astores on blogspot SPIDEREABLE....well uhm....but as of now i havent found a way.

So..your own host an AoM is *definitly* 10 millions times better than astore....astore is just so extremely tempting because its ultra easy...its almost like an addiction :) Nice for playing with it, putting it on a blog with one line of code....but as said..running in an iframe or as link to amazon...so in terms of SEO/SERP it wont do ANYTHING for you.

    super primitive:

Edit: woohoo..someone just bough a $330 drill on my RPT store..and i had my very first sale on my antivirus site today !

Now i am sending out link-exchange requests to some forums...getting better any day :)
