The local Chinese restaurant. When it comes to chain restaurant food I would pick Subway. I must have fallen for their advertising about being the healthy alternative
I'd have to say Cornerstone Pie which is quite nice and Benihana on special occasions like birthdays.
Anywhere which would serve me with a rare cooked beef scotch steak with fries and mashed potatoes .. xD
Well there are lots of favorite restaurants in my list..... Like Pizza Hut, Burger King, Mahadev Dhabha, LMB...
None of those are considered restaurants in NZ, amuses me that Americans think they are I like exploring new places and tastes so don't have any clear favourite, that I frequent regularly I had lunch here today, I'd go back In the foodcourt by where I work when I'm in Sydney there was a Malay stall that did proper roti with curry dipping sauce. Divine. On my next trip they were gone - I was heartbroken!
I like privately owned establishments. Chain restaurants are okay if I'm not that bothered about the food on offer. I do like McDonald's every now and then (Usually pick one up in the early hours on a weekend when I randomly turn hungry... lol). I do enjoy a Subway Sandwich during lunch hours at work too. Italian BMT or Spicy Italian with extra mayo is my choice.
are you talking restaurants or fast food outlets? surely there's something in your town/city that can cater for vegans?
The moral dilemmas of our times - do we feather the nests of those we despise? I wonder how many decisions you make each day that, with more information, you'd make differently? Let's say that former CEO owns shares (he probably does) - can you stomach doing business with those companies? Is there a threshold for acceptable share holding and unacceptable? Many years ago the software house I worked for had 2 small accounts. We all went off happily to the brewery but turned our noses up at the cigarette company. Led to some interesting ethical discussions. We were allowed to decline but we weren't allowed to be hypocrites.
