Hi Yaros, Thank you for so much. It has been a wonderful journey to complete reading every single post. I have seen the changes and the improvement of the plugin. I also like to thank those who has ask good questions which has been benefit many of us. I am experience with wordpress and self hosting for more than 5 years. I still learning as i reading this thread. I have decided to purchase the alidrop plugin. I have a question as i have a existing LIVE website on woo commence. What shall i do? Maybe shall i create a staging website and migrate over? Or How shall it be done? Thank you Simon
Yaros...what an amazing journey you have posted over two years. I discovered this thread via Google via my search "How to dropship products from Aliexpress". What a wealth of information you have shared over two years. I thought maybe the 'Aliexpress dropship idea' might be over-saturated by now, but after reading your updates, I see it is still a very viable option... Thank you again for all the information shared, and your complete transparency...
Thank you. I found the self help document from alidropship. I install alidropship woo plugin. Everything is good now.
HI Yaros, May i ask how can i resolve this error as when i am installing the plugin: Installing Plugin from uploaded file: davinci.0.9.22.zip Unpacking the package… Installing the plugin… The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found. Plugin install failed. I have created a subdomain to test out the davinci theme. Will you please advise me Thank you Simon
Yes, i try to install the davinci theme on my sub. domain for testing. I have installed alidropship woo plugin on my LIVE website. it work fine. However, in some situation, when i import list into woo commerce. They are some product listing with missing image which suppose to be imported in the woo commerce variation. Secondly, when i disable the function to display the stock inventory in woo commerce. It still show and i cant hide it. I like to test out if davinci theme, maybe it will work better for me Thank you
Hi Yaros, I have read the thread through it's entirety and a couple of points come to mind. Your Worldofharry site might just have the Brand that got you through. How are your more copyright friendly sites doing in comparison to Worldofharry? I ask because I worry that this thread is the catalyst that motivates people to set up lesser sites than Worldofharry, only to see them fail miserably. I would dearly like to see you start the journey again with a more "Uncontroversial" site and see what happens, or if you could put up some stats from any of your other sites, we could all compare. Then that would be really interesting as I feel most of us don't want to copy you with any Branding issues, so we are more likely to target the less interesting niches. By the way, did you ever get any copyright issues with Worldofharry?
For this moment my Harry site is not the most profitable one. I have sites without branded products and they work perfect. It all about the marketing and finding your targeted audience. I can't discover my top-earning sites but you can check this site https://kittenrules.com/. It is an example of a non-branded products store with a monthly profit of $3000-4000.
Wow, that's pretty good. I have started a site in the Pets niche. I have tried everything. Viral Video's, Facebook ads, Google ad words and nothing works. I am currently reviewing your articles on marketing, but I'm not sure they all work. The posting to groups idea seems to have been removed by Facebook (Have you noticed this?) I was thinking that Pet's products weren't very interesting and I was trying to sell directly to FB users when they seem more interested in socialising, so it was interesting to see that you basically send everyone your site details quite openly. What I mean is your facebook page is quite openly a shop about Harry Potter products. And your not really hiding that fact. Do you think maybe that's the way to play it?
I'm starting to think that FB ads is one great big con. I have targeted audience in the Pet niche but not one sale, so I will be very interested how you get on with this. Can't say I,ve spent a fortune (about $300) but still, you would expect one order wouldn't you? Maybe it's my site or my facebook page but not going well. Have you tried viral videos? It's worked for some apparently!
No I have not tried viral videos. As for FB ads, your success much depends on finding your targeted audience. For example, I was not successful with FB ads for one of my stores for a long time. Then I found out that my targeted audience are females between 18-24 years from US who are using iPhone, and now my FB campaigns are working great for this store.
I think this is where I am getting confused! How did you find this out? Do you mean by testing your ads?
