From the aesthetic point of view it's a nice looking website. I actually saw your post yesterday, but didn't leave a comment. What I wanted to say was it doesn't feel like a shop. It feels more like a personal blog. There's a certain feel to successful e-commerce sites that is inevitably there. Yours doesn't have it yet.

 

Thank you for your time to reply. I wanted to add value by creating a blog and share content, so i could build a community. So how would you suggest as a marketer, to create that shopping vibe that you are talking about?

 

If that's the goal you have in mind, then you're probably on the right track. I looked at some of your potential competitors and they all look kind of like your site. So I guess, it's working for them. The feel I have in mind looks more like your everyday e-commerce site, similar to: https://www.overstock.com/Clothing-Shoes/Sunglasses/234/dept.html I will not be surprised if overstock sells more sunglasses than all of the sites I looked at combined. Personally, when I shop for sunglasses (or anything else) online I don't care for the artsy-fartsy stuff. I just want to see a good selection with reasonable prices.
