Page ranked 1/10 after 3 hrs of buying domain!!!

I just bought this domain www.azlinux.com and google has ranked me 1/10 when i checked just now.. 3 hrs after buying the domain...

I checked using this website: http://www.mypagerank.net/service_google_pagerank_index



How can this be possible???

Yes, it was probly just expired, once registered it still has PR1, as the sites still ink to it.

Almost all sites up for 3 months or more get PR1

The links to it are older, and age of links plays a factor. Basically, he got the name he wanted, and it is a old domain and already has some aged links, so its better then a brand new domain -- which is what he thought he was getting.

Well, I don't think having a PR1 domain is a big deal. I'd be surprised if you bought a PR4.

You have to realise a 3 is the bare minimum anything less is penalized in some way

 

Good to get that domain. Easy to promote and if it was penalize than hard to get rank. But not immpossible

 

It because of the site still has old backlinks, start to do your backlinks if you don't want to lose PR1.
