Hello, Some websites copied some of my posts without a backlink to my original link. My question Does Google know that my posts are original? Does this affect approval on Google Adsense? Since they copied my posts. And one more thing .. my posts are older than their copied ones. Regards,
It does not matter how old your posts are; it does matter which site has more authority, so if he has more authority, then he will outrank you... contact his host, and see if they will remove the content; I think you can also report the content on his site, however, I am not sure how, and beyond that, I would not expect much more action to be taken, not to say that google will take any action anyways; this sorta of stuff happens all the time.... He is in this for short term gains, you are in this for long term gains, so just keep doing what you are doing, and continue building high quality backlinks to your content, and I assure you that he will not be doing the same as he is looking for the cheapest score without putting any time, effort or money into whatever he is doing, which is completely a waste of time for him.... can this ultimately affect your rankings, yes, it can... but the other guy does not care so much about rankings, for whatever reason, he is just looking to scrape content....
I'm not talking about ranking .. my ranking is good I'm talking about Adsense approval. would they accept my website as it contains original posts or they will consider it copied from the others despite I'm the original author? Thanks
I dont see why they would not approve..just the other day I seen a site that auto scrapes content, and they have adsense, seems to be working for them.... and I am not sure if adsense does any in depth research, and if they did, then they probably would conclude that you are the original source....
Can you please give me a link for this site that uses the content scraper? I want to know the niche of this website. Thanks.
What you can do is report them to both google and host provider. Also try to contact the site owners and ask them what the f#&$ they are doing?!?
that is hilarious.... sites with age can get 100s of spider hits daily... more advanced sites may get more hits then that.... exactly which one do you think is scraping your site? I guess you could start by blocking Russia/China IPs.... (unless you feel they are your customer base...)
Actually I have reported several times to Google about one of the sites that is scrapping content from my blog. Its almost a months and nothing happens. Site is still running fine with AdSense on it. Better you file a DMCA take down notice with the hosting provider.
You can put Social Media to work and hope that people will like, share, tweet or link to your content and then Google will crawl it first. You can also hook up things like PubSubHubbub, which will ping various places. Sending a DMCA request or submitting a spam report might be helpful. It's definitely the case that Google tries to find out who is the original author, but the whole idea of being able to crawl the entire web and having a perfect copy at every instant, is a little bit flawed, because at any time they can only go and fetch a certain finite number of pages...
You should report to google about this matter immediately or else it may go under duplicate content.I did the same when my sites are getting good traffic, most of the sites started copying my content.I reported to google and stay safe. They will also ban the account if the content is duplicate.
