Thinking of selling this site. Opinions?

    Hi,

Recently I decided to code and launch my own version of the famous KingoftheBill but with my own twist. You can see the site here: www.topofthesite.com

However, it's not doing as well as I thought, and so I'm now considering selling the site.

It's 100% automated and it took 3 solid days of coding to finish. If I did sell, everything there, including the domain would come with it.

What would you pay? What would you expect it to go for? Any answers are appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Lee.

5 sites won't get you to pay off $100 per month. Looks like a risky business to me

    This is interesting.

    I think I'm just about clever enough to work out that: 5 (sites) x $1 < $100

Who said these sites where the only source of income? The website has been going less than a week. I am asking for advice, not what I already know.

people might not be intrested in the current theme of your site as you already know its in loss. Maybe changing it into a directory or something else might get you good price

A Directory? That's insane. There are far too many. This site is not making a loss. I'm looking for a damn appraisal for christ's sake.

If it isn't making a loss - would be interested in buying the site. Doesn't have to make a great profit, would look for minor changes in the script.

Let me know your expected price / revenue details / traffic stats.

    OK,

I'd be happy to make a few tweaks if you like. Revenue wise, it has made only a few dollars, as some of them are free listings to get the ball rolling. There hasn't been much traffic yet, around 150 uniques for its short few day life time. If you want to talk more, PM me or add me to msn messenger.

    Thanks,

    Lee.
