What is the definition of PR in the SEO world?

What is the definition of PR in the SEO world?
I already researched several forums and search engines and I did not find a clear definition on this! It seems that people are unaware of this and only say fallacies about the PR time

Is the best thing I found:

A combination of the words Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and public relations (PR). It is a combination of writing press releases and other marketing papers for search engine optimization purposes to generate leads as well as traffic to a Web site.

Also called Internet Public Relations.

I spent a lot of time believing to be PR = Page Ranking, but it's a lot more complex than that.

If you happen to mean that the page rank is no longer a metric considered by Google, I'll tell you, this is information that everyone knows and your answer is totally out of context for my question, because my topic does not talk about pagerank , I espresso the pagerank text as a simple remark. But topic topic is not about pagerank, I suggest you read before replying.

 

Pagerank is a old days talk. Google stopped showing PR data publicly. So, it is quite impossible to know the Pagerank.

 

The thread isn't about Pagerank, OP has already said this in his last post.

 

Thankssss @iwebsocial By the help, just to warn these people that they do not even know what the topic is about, I already consider it a great help, I have never seen so many people who can not read together in the same place (Here in Brazil "my country" the name is functional illiteracy , I thought this was a typical Brazilian problem).
