Excel column issue

I have a simple excel spreadsheet with columns of text.

The title of the first column is too large for the cell and it means that the next column has to start too far over.

I can't increase the column width because it will change the data layout above these rows.

Is there anything I can do about it to allow the column to be slightly wider without affecting what's above? I've looked at merging the cells, but I don't think that will work as then I'll have to change the width of the next column over.

Break your header into two rows.

It seems that you only have one element in a two-column wide set - can't you just join the two cells from that heading down?

Select all your long text then click wrap text.

Sorry guys, there's more text above what's in the screenshot, so joining the cells and reducing the column size will mess up what's above.

I did. I'd misunderstood it. I think wrapping the text may be a solution!
