Who is the register. I dont think you have much to worry about if it is a registered company and you follow all terms and conditions.

I don't exactly know what you mean by trust the registrar but there shoudln't be anything go wrong with your domain name as long as you pay the registration and renewals each year. You should make sure to keep all your contact information up to date (including email and phone) as I've heard ICANN is pretty perticular about that. Also if you haven't already registered teh name, be careful as I've heard stories of ways to be able to monitor when someone does a lookup for a domain in hopes they have found a gem and them they register it out from under you. I'd be careful in this regard but nothing to do with the registrar. There is a term for this but I've forgotten it and I don't think it's too big a deal but go ahead and register your domain if your sure that is what you want and it is available. I'd recommend highly www.FroggyDomains.com or just about any major registrar out there like Enom or Go Daddy.

Attempt the registeration thorugh one of the better know companies like GoDaddy. Have your CC ready and be ready to buy the minute the available button comes up. Do not think about it or continue to shop. Once you search for it, buy it.

That is the best advice I know how to give.

Or avoid all registrars altogether and forget about registering the domain. :D

Another thing to keep in mind is to make sure the registrar is ICANN accredited.

Avoid registering with a reseller. They can create problems

NameCheap is the best, you cant even buy a domain from GoDaddy without them pitching you for other things.

Namecheap is the most reputed reseller though and they are considering to become a registrar soon so don't worry about them being a reseller

    Thank you all,
something that may you don't know its that I live in Iran,
and work with resellers in Iran, however I registered several domains via them,
even they advertise to not register in a US company like godaddy..etc.
cause the relation of IRan and US is not good, and I'v heared in recent years Godaddy, closed many site of Iranians

to register directly in one of the mentioned sites, I need a payment method that currently I didn't provide it, however I may can use VCC
stndra, if u still think can have suggestion let me know

I believe you are correct. You should pick the most reputable one in Iran. For that I have no information to offer.

    Good luck
