    The site has been up since 1997. It is currently making $12k in advertising revenue as well as 5k in sales montly. Total montly income is $17k.

    It is a rare 3 letter .com

    I am looking for 400k or above offers.

    I belive its a fair price since it was registered since 1997 and 3 letter word .com. Those 2 adds to the value of the site.


    Any reason of selling?

    Why would you, someone who has a site like this, and more it seems ("this" being 3-letter .com making thousands per month) still work on the somewhat average sites posted in your signature?

    I sold the site to help pay for a house im closing on at the end of this month.

    And it boggles my mind to think some of you are having a hard time with the original asking price. For one the site was taking in 200k per year. THe average person can buy the site, and never work again. This domain was not "www.buyafishformoney.com" This was a PR8 3 char .com which will continue to make earnings. The site had not been promoted or marketed by me since 2001. Meaning all money made was pure profit.

    For instance. There is a pool hall local to me that is forsale. After expenses it turns 150k profit. The asking price for this business is 900k.

    My asking price was below what I received.

    "still work on the somewhat average sites posted in your signature?"

    I own a little over 700 developed websites, which I actively promote. I do not need to promote some of my larger sites which is why they are not listed in my sig.

    But thank you all for posting in the thread.
