Hello all! Just started getting into this IM business and Im looking forward to learning a few tricks and moves from you senior members. I am aware that this isnt going to be a walk in the park, but at least there's a right way to go about things and thats what I hope to achieve from this place Looking forward to earning more friends and possibly some money too haha
Welcome to the forum Simon. Have you decided on the niche you'll market in? I think that's a first step before entering into IM. You have a choice between physical products and digital products initially. Then there are many sub-niches to consider from there. Do you have experience in marketing product? If not you'll need some sort of training to get started. It's wise to be highly selective about who you learn from as there are a lot of misleading products out there. The best teachers are those who actually and successfully use the techniques they promote. It's good that you come here seeking guidance. There are a lot of knowledgeable members on the forum who are willing to give advice. I wish you success in your quest.
Hi Joe! Thanks for replying. Yes I have. I intend to try some nutra offers I've seen on a few CPA network's Ive joined just recently and try selling them on facebook. I've checked the ad targetting on facebook and its quite solid, although I did watch a few videos where youtube celebs accuse FB of cheating as far as purchased likes go and that their ads never convert. Any truth in that? If so, thats very discouraging for me because Its the only place Ive really studied on quite a bit and to learn that its not good... well -
Welcome to the Forum Simon and believe me this is THE BEST place for Digital Marketing Beginners. Good Luck.
Welcome Simon Baker! There are lots of well experienced members here and kindly share your interesting thread to begin discussions here. Cheers!
I'm not the person to advise about FB myself Simon. I don't get too deep into advertising from that source other than to boost my posts from time to time. I do have one group and a couple fan pages. I post to them but mostly let them operate on autopilot otherwise. I take the slow approach and let things there occur naturally. The key is that you've picked your niche and find it a good fit for you. Now you need to study marketing techniques as they relate to your niche and put them into play.
Gotya! Thanks for the encouragement. Just need to study and as soon as I feel like I've probably done as much as the people who I've read to have done before they ventured in, I'll be going in or the plunge!
I will try to do my best in searching but to be totally honest, I easily get lost. What Im looking for could be right in front of me but if its unfamiliar, I may miss recognizing it. I beg that you be so kind as to be forgiving when I look like Ive done what you warned me to avoid.
I recommend that as soon as you're able to start working a technique start working it. Don't wait until you think you know a lot. The key is to get your marketing started selling. You can learn as you go and as you act on your latest know-how you'll find the experience solidifies the new knowledge.
