I'm very sorry that your parents kicked you out of their house on your 35th birthday. I fully realize that it must be stressful to be on your own for the first time in your life. Hang in there, things will get better soon.
I firmly believe the best place to live is in the United States with my freedoms & democracy, although there are probably a lot of people who disagree with me.
Netherlands is one of them. New Zealand comes to my mind. That's up to every person and like the comment above me said , if you have the money.
I do love New York. There're a lot of cool places to discover and eat pretty much everyday. I even started using an app called service empire to help me find new areas around that I didn't even know there were there. I saw an article a few days ago that said: "There are enough restaurants in New York City for one person to eat out every night for 54 years and never visit the same place twice".
I believe it. The corollary to that is that there is a never-ending crush of people "in line" ahead of you everywhere. I have done a lot of business in NYC and just went there for a daytrip last summer to take the kids to the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Times Square. Was real glad to be on the way home at the end of the day. That is much how I feel about all of my trips to NYC. And, did I mention the smells and grime?
Try telling that to a New Yorker... I have been reminded by a New Yorker more than once that the metro NY economy would make it the 12th or 13th largest country in the world based on economics.
Probably the one with the least amount of people. Most countries are amazing when they aren't polluted with humans.
I like to live in VA, due to low crime rate, incredible nature and historical culture. The Hampton City is a Best Place to live in Virginia.
I live in Russia and this question interests me very much because Russia in my opinion is not the best country for life. Watchmen of TVs are extremely convinced that everything in this box is said to be the purest truth, but what happens in the country proves the opposite, but no one is trying to notice it. I apologize for the spam
Just a correction about people who think canada is cold !! Canada is no colder than about the top half of the uS, as an example. New York for example has more snow fall than even the top parts of Canada. Yes a proud Canadian, eh !!!
India is the best country to live. it have so many good places where you can stay. Mumbai, Goa, Banglore all are best cities for it.
