    Hello everyone,
    I am a logo designer. Recently, I got an order on fiverr from a buyer to modify his logo which is in png format. Even the logo as has a text which he want to be replaced by another word. He even not provided me any cdr, ai, psd source file. Is it possible to to edit a png format logo in cdr, ai, psd without disturbing the logo shape. Please provide me suggestion regarding this.

    You can but you won't get the layers - you'll have to work your designer magic to separate out the layers.

    well for my video's i am using MS-Paint to edit png files and after editing saving them in same format. Since don't have enough space for installing image editing software.

    Yes you can edit a PNG and heres how;
    Firstly the logo needs to have a transparent background for it to work,
    Next start copy and pasting elements of the logo and separating them
    in layers.

    The only downside is that these are not vectors, so cannot be scaled
    up or it will lose quality.

    Best option;
    Pay a designer, [like myself :)] to re-vector your logo and have it delievered
    in an editable format for ease of futher use in future.

    I would use my tablet to "overpaint" the logo to remove the text, and add it again. but how difficult is the shape of the logo? Is your time worth the payment that the person is offering?
