Maybe your post is trash, is your post relevant do the sub-Reddit where you posted?
Did you give them any good incentive to click and check out your site?

If you made a post like this one you can't expect to receive traffic :)

How to make reddit to work for you:
There are plenty of sub reddits in reddit
You need to find the right sub reddit to post the relevant content

Do not post links and wait for traffic. Do post it as a text post with detailed title and description. You can link to your actual post in the description.
Help others first, do marketing only 20%.

Else you will get banned very soon.

Also try to subscribe Gold membership to enjoy other benefits from the top social bookmarking site Reddit.

You need to wait for 1 hour to post the second post on reddit.
Posting 2-3 is good, up to me.

You can add links in your text post.
When you're new to Reddit and posting links alone will trigger the autobot which leads to ban the account.

Do not try to spam on reddit, they are very geeky and will shadow ban in without giving any warning if you try to spam it.
Post some quality stuff on reddit to get traffic to your website

Have you contributed something of value on Reddit? Did you make sure that your promoted content is fresh, quality and high-value? You know, there's a reason Reddit doesn't work for you. Once you answer NO to these questions, well, you know the problem.

Reddit is a very strong source to drive traffic to your website to follow some rules. You need to post content in relevant Sub reddits. Try to post one or two posts in a day. If you go for posting too many links in a day, you will get banned very soon. Try to subscribe gold membership to get more benefits from Reditt.

Try advertising as well. Yeah, you have to pay here but the rates are cheap (at least they used to be). Your ad might attract users and consequently it might drive traffic to your other posts as well. Become an active member of the community, use subreddits, don't be a spammer.

you might be banned on reddit. reddit ban is different from other bans..... you can post and comment on reddit like the normal way but no other person can see them.. to check that open incognito and place the url of ur posts, if they are not there it means u have been banned from reddit, which is called a stealth ban.

The problem is that reddit does not want to see people promoting their business. Henc, either you got banned or you do not get any traffic at all. I am quite active on reddit and at some times got good traffic, but it's damn heard to convert it. Even after getting thousand clicks to a nice blogpost, nearly nobody signed up at the lead form (which usually works quite good).

Reddit can be very helpful to get good traffic to a website but it is also tricky. You should select the right subreddit and post only quality content as most of the reddit users are genuine and they don't tolerate low quality spammy content. You have to face lots of bashing and low votes if you don't post quality content or don't care about choosing right subreddit.

To do well on reddit you need to post quality links, stuff they are interested in. Something non spammy. Get a rep first then you can post your own junk once in a while and get away with it. They know the tricks

Reditt is the best source for getting traffic but for this you'll need to be careful while posting since spamming is strictly banned there. Check what title are you using? What keywords are you targeting and what type of link you are adding there?
