    So I looked online and saw that blog posting and web 2.0 articles are good for SEO.

    Can someone please explain to me or list such websites where I can do this?
    What are some sites I can post blogs on?
    What are some web 2.0 sites I can submit articles to?

    Try to use expired web 2.0 domains with high domain authority.
    I strongly prefer to use the below sites:
    1. Blogger
    2. Tumblr
    3. Weebly
    4. Wordpress

    Use scrapebox (a SEO tool) to find the web 2.0 sites, there have some paid plugins to check the expired domains.
    Work on finding related domain name related to your industry.

    The above task takes time, but it worth the time spending on this.

    Yes! as you said.. Submitting articles in Web 2.0 sites is good for SEO. Since Web 2.0 sites allow users to publish websites/blogs and make them to interact with entire communities you would get lots of targeted visitors to your site. Most of the Web 2.0 site allows there publishers free to use, so all you need is quality content and start improving your site performance..

    Make sure your web 2.0 websites has 'Dofollow' links.. Because Do-follow links plays vital role in SEO than the 'No-follow' link websites..

    best way to get list of web 2.o try this search query on google " top web 2.0 site list " open first result and you get huge list of web 2.0 sites.

    I don't have any success with Tumblr yet so I don't think I can recommend it though it is very easy to use. If you want to be market properly your post in Tumblr I think you should make sure to always promote it and one thing more better to use hashtags all the time.

    Make web 2.0 and also indexed every site you make. At first,start with three sites. I recommend using blogger, wordpress and tumblr.
    Web 2.0 site name must have your main keyword or LSI keywords.
    Add content to your web 2.0. First 3 posts must be unique content. Later you can go with filler content like a video, infographics,image post,etc
    Add link in a natural way and also add authoity site links to your post.
    Add images with source in your post.
    Promote posts on social media. Especially on google plus.
    Add link of your web 2.0 manual in search engine.
    Your sites will be indexed in a week or more.
    If you work genuinely on these sites , you will enjoy a boost in rank.
    Important note:create web 2.0 with different emails and names
    I got results via this technique and I am sure it would work for almost any niche.
