Sudden Drop in organic Traffic after adsense - went down to 1/4th of traffic

Hi,

I am experiencing sudden drop in my websites traffic. The traffic has become 1/4th of the original traffic. The drop was mostly on the organic part. There are no errors on webmaster tools and i have also copyscaped the latest content on the site to make sure there was nothing plagiarized.

The weird thing is traffic started dropping the same day I added adsense to the site. And most of my search engine ranking is going down.

I did a protocol change from http to https early February. I left the site unattended from July 2016 till January 2017 and the traffic was always stable.

If anybody could help me recognize the problem it would be great.

 

i heard about google update yesterday in various seo news sites. so it is possibly reason of sudden drop of your traffic.

 

I doubt it has anything to do with Adsense this is usually indicative of a website penalty.

yes, its no were related to adsense,

check whether you competitors are spamming your site.

i strongly recommend you to check your backlinks profile once.

Well, I am gonna have a hard time building traffic back.

Is there any good backlink checker tool you could recommend (free or paid as long as it isn't really expensive)

 

This is because of the irrelevant back links.

 

I think you mean spammy backlinks.

 

As for backlinks checker I would recommended you Ahrefs, it's not cheap but it gives you 14 days free trial & if you can afford it defiantly worth the price
