Being Banned Without Just Cause

    I seriously do not understand all of the bans that gone on here or the infractions thats handed out.

    I see people scam others time and time again with no punishment of any sort. Then I see members who have over 100 itraders and good reputation being banned over absolutely nothing.

    It's ridiculous.

    I guess the basic idea is that this is a public forum where people can conduct their business in a common place. This is not a babysitting facility where you can demand protection from fraudsters. But you can certainly frame the scammers by telling others to avoid them.

    As for the reasons for banning people for typing "interested" or other such interesting posts, we all have a right to our opinion. Its a free place we can all use. If we dont like the rules imposed by the owners, we should go elsewhere.

    Constantly bumping threads, spamming the boards, posting personal information, posting affiliate links, or duplicate accounts. These are all things that I guess deserve infractions but there are things that people get infractions/banned for over no reason.

    Such as asking for the OP to message them with a URL to a site they are selling. Exactly how is that in the wrong? To ban someone over that is ridiculous.

    Or banning because you started to many sales threads with auctions?

    Um hello isn't that what the site is for?

    I know my mistake for my first posts that's why I was banned. Anyway, I am happy they let me again. It was an apparent mistake for me so I learned from it.
