Been hit with Google Penguin - best to disavow or remove links?

    Got hit with a google penguin penalty and a few thousand links. Best to remove the links or disavow? what do you all think?

    It is good if you start disavowing the links.

    The new update from google will automatically not consider the links that look spammy or purchased.
