AA Remember that website, lockerz.com? An ecommerce website in which you answer daily questions, watch videos and earn points then use those points to win different prizes. I have a screenshot of that website but I do not know where to start? My questions may sound a little bit silly as I am a beginner but hey its a web dev forum is'nt it? Here is the screenshot: So from where should I start? By learning HTML, CSS, Javascript?? Or something more advanced like twitter bootstrap? Also will GIMP be sufficient for the designs? Best Regards
Hi AA, You can start learning the basic coding. There are lots of websites where you can learn this such as code academy, code avengers, code school etc. I personally prefer code academy. They will guide you step by step process which code you should learn first. Hope that helps. Cheers
First things first. Are you rich? Do you have money to burn? If not, HOW are you going to monetize the site? Unless you have a business plan in place to do that FIRST, you are doing nothing but spinning your wheels. You will get no significant repeat traffic if you do not have a wide selection of "prizes" available to award the winners. And those "prizes" are NOT free to you.

You need to do genuinely what lockerz was not willing to do. They made plenty of guarantees but they did not provide. Let's say you offer good items at affordable costs, customers will head aimed at your web page. Once you begin to make a benefit, you can discuss some of that cash with people who deliver customers to your site. It is important that you actually pay out cash.
first create wirefram for your site and implement in photoshop or illustrator after completing this. you can convert psd to html easily.
