Need help to start working as an Affiliate marketer!

Hi everyone,

First, I want to introduce myself: I'm Omar ,18 years old, I'm from Morocco and I've just finished reading a course about CPA marketing that I bought after watching lots of videos and reading posts on forums. I'm a student at a Business school, my love for marketing prompted me to read more about the subject and now I decided to take action and start working as an affiliate maketer. Given that I'm young I don't have enough money and time to devote for work ( I study 24 Hours/week and my parents send me $300/per month). My question is how much money and time do i need to start working if we take into account hosting, domains, and money i'm going to spend on my campaigns?!
I also want to know how CPA networks work (I don't want to apply and then not get accepted, and I also don't want to get accepted and not be able to devote a lot of time for the work and get bad reputation for not working enough)
I also want to know more about paid traffic and how does it work.

PS: My goal is to reach a $1000/month income but that's a long term goal for now I can be satisfied with $300/month.

Do you think that this guest will come returning to your website and take your guidance again? Most likely no; this can harm your reliability in the long run. Usually, websites/company that offer good client support will have better client care so try to stick with advertising their items.

7. Use Beneficial Tools
If you are serious about internet marketing then try to find resources that will help you be more efficient. There are many helpful resources out there. If you are using a WordPress operated website then consider getting a plug-in similar to the Affiliate Link Administrator.

Don’t just hope and wish that visitors will buy; installation everything properly and then ensure it is happen! If you think that visitors will click on your online hyperlinks and buy just because you placed a multitude of online hyperlinks on your website then you are wrong! You need to have an organized plan in position. Affiliate marketing is a business so you will have a much better chance of being successful if you address it like one.

You can start with a free website at WordPress.com or Blogger.com, and then when you start profiting move to a self-hosted real estate. With a free blog, your domain will be a sub and will look like this: (yourtitle).WordPress.com. Domain registration is available for around $10 a year (I'm talking US dollars here as that's my experience), and I have one hosting account that runs less than $8. I have another hosting account. I also have one hosting account that is a lifetime membership. Pay a one time fee with no recurring fees. You can see that at lifetime.hosting. And I do have an affiliate link for that if you want it. Just PM me, but if you go to the address I just gave you the info is there.

As far as time you'll most likely want to spend as much of that as you can spare on your marketing - at least at first. Once you have all your processes in place you'll likely be able to maintain them with a couple hours a day of your time.

Your cost for running a business varies depending on the marketing techniques you choose. You can bootstrap everything if you like. Just keep in mind that the less you have to invest the more time the building of your business takes.

There are a number of ways to buy traffic, and they vary in how much they cost. Paid traffic can be very expensive if you don't know how to go about it, and that holds true for every technique. I recommend that you choose one method at a time, learn how it works, and make sure you know how you'll fund it without getting in deeper than you can afford - before you make your first traffic purchase. Some examples here are text ads, banner ads, and solo ads. They all work well if you know how to work them.

I agree with what robinymym told you. You'll want to consider his points over time. In addition to his point #6, I recommend that you use the product you'll market yourself. You want to make sure it actually does what the creator says it does. And it really helps if you're familiar with it. That way you can talk about the value it gives to your potential customer.

Well first you must understand what that affiliate maketing its by seling other people products in exchange for a comision ,your job with cpa its cpa marketing a diferent thing .Its good to start cpa marketing first because its easy than affiliate marketing and then you can jump to affiliate marketing

 

I've studied a little about CPA networks, but haven't gotten involved with them. So I'm not the best person to give you advice there. Perhaps someone else here can help you. You can also do a search for the subject. I am aware that some of those networks have fairly strict requirements. I recommend you find a reliable source of info, and research CPA before you start applying.

One factor often overlooked with CPA (and other methods) is the basic mathematical concepts of testing.

For example, if you want to test a CPA offer which pays $250 (as some loan offers do), and you use payed traffic, then each test you do will cost $1000 (because random events in the real world are much more clustered than people imagine). Then you change one word (which can double or halve your conversion rate, sometimes), and that's another $1000 to test. If you are using free traffic methods, instead of $1000, that's a LOT of time, for each test.

Also, if you really think about it, the amount of payout is not what matters. What matters is EPC (earnings per click). For example, if you have one offer which pays $100 and converts at 1%, and a second offer which pays $50 and converts at 3%, then the second offer makes you more money. So make sure you understand this clearly. Some CPA networks (such as PeerFly) list with EPC, so you can order a list of offers by EPC.

Whatever method you try, you'll need to take some action, test the results and find ways to improve it. Even the experts don't know what will work best (although they can make some good guesses) . . . they too need to test different options and find out for real.

There are networks that accepts beginners but you also have to show your potential since you do not have any experience. Start with making your website first (Wordpress is good) as they also ask for your site URL as part of the signup questions. Make sure your content is good.
Once your in, that's when you start testing the offers available for you. Do research on the offer selected. Study on how to work on free traffic (if you still do not have enough money to start with) and once you're receiving payment, then the next step is learning about and investing on paid traffic. You should also take note of Chris-' advice, he has a good point.
