When I follow that page the advertisers are not that relevant. So I assume my visitors might be tempted to click on the link unit but will never click on the following advertisers page. Is there any way to setup the adsense to report the link unit effectiveness ? Can I control what displays in the following page ? How can I know how much I would get paid for a particular AD ? (not exact but relative lets say to other ADS) And just to make this more concrete. The site in question is http://hausfay.com My most relevant keywords are/should be: Chios Chios Greece Chios Apartments Chios Studios Chios Rooms Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: Could it be simply that there not so much demand for the specific keywords and Google is forced to show irrelevant ADS ?
You can use channels to track link units. No you can not control what should be displayed on your page. No, there is no exact or nearby percentage that anyone can tell you
This is most likely exactly what is happening with your ads. Use of channels is a perfect way of measuring individual ad effectiveness. The ads thta display on the following page is out of your control. This is in direct relation to the popularity and resulting demand for the keywords.
I've lost track of link units. Do a lot people still use them? I know some people use to say adlinks compromised the majority of their adsense income, but I am detecting more and more people simply going with the traditional ad blocks.
