What color best describes the word Strange? I am researching some color psychology data and I would like to see what others think.
When someone or something is deemed strange it is therefore not accepted. If a person is labelled such then he/she is ostracized and then not a part of. This in turn would give way to feelings of low self esteem and worthlessness. Therefore the color black would best describe this word.
I think that @Spoiltdiva had a good post in terms of one definition of the word "strange" and it got me thinking along those lines. If you think of using the term "strange" as meaning "unknown to me" (e.g., "I found myself as a stranger in a strange town and unable to find a restaurant.") I think that the color gray would be most descriptive.
