Turned 49 today. It's hard to start all over again, but I used to pump iron in my early 20's. My NY's resolution is to get back in shape. My muscles are really, really sore today. Got this set yesterday.
My new year resolution is made when I want to correct my mistakes they have done the past year or do something in more organized and efficiently. I had habit of reading and travailing. Now I days I’m bit lazy, so my new year resulution is to red more books travailing and try to be active in every work. I hope ill successful.
Try telling my wife this. I oftentimes fail at remembering to eat either breakfast or lunch because I get so focused on work, to great concern from my wife. Oh well. We'll have to find something even easier, @jrbiz and @qwikad.com, haha On a serious note; if I had to come up with a resolution for 2017 it'd be to start paying others to help me manage my various projects. Not been too good at that so far (also because there hasn't been a whole lot of money to pay - but things are looking brighter now than last year, so I'm optimistic).
I heard these stats at my church this morning: - About 40 million people make New Year's resolutions in the US alone. - By week 2 the number decreases by 20%. - In 6 months less than 20% will stay committed to their resolutions.
No, I think that this year I am up for the challenge. I am confident that I can eat more chocolate this year than in 2016. It will take dedication and perseverance, but I am focused and already visualizing success.
Oh, you're already visualizing success? Well, that's all it takes - or at least so I've read online. You could actually argue that you have now already succeeded at keeping your resolution Here's an idea! How about you post a picture of you eating chocolate for each day throughout the rest of this year? Yes, do it. Please do. I'll be an active follower. I mean, chocolate is delicious. Even just a picture of chocolate is better than no chocolate at all, I say!
The fun thing about new year's resolution is you will fail to achieve it! hahaha then trying to achieve it again next year. XD Been working for a website and technology integration and keep playing "Dota 2" while sticking my hands on my projects and it keeps messing my work. Trying to get rid playing dota last year, I even uninstalled it then after a few days, damn installed it again. I know it is rare to see girls playing this game but I am smoking hot on this. Cheers 2017 XD
36 days later... Lost about 3lb (1.3kg). Still a long way to go. Will post progress pics in another 30 days or so. Need a tan desperately.
That's the whole point why I posted the pics. Realistically speaking, nobody needs to see another man's flesh. But it puts pressure on me to keep going. I do enjoy pumping iron, however, being 49 it feels like a constant uphill battle.
