I just ate a very odd breakfast, beef jerky and cinnamon powder donut. Eating on the run is rarely a good idea but today was a very on the go breakfast. I wonder how many of us eat a good breakfast. What did you eat for breakfast?
Most of the time I don't eat breakfasts. My day usually starts around 5:30-6:30 am. I have 2-3 cups of decaf coffee with cream and sugar, which helps me last till almost lunch time. Then I eat a big lunch. Although the last two days I ate fried eggs, bacon and toast with orange juice for breakfast, which is unusual. I think it's because I've started exercising again and my body seems to be needing more calories.
I switched to decaf just recently to see if my sleep would improve. Sure enough it did. Although I had a serious headache for almost a week after switching.
Wow, that sounds like something I would have for breakfast. I tend to eat whatever sounds good that I have on hand and often eat weird combinations of things for meals, and not just breakfast. Although most people consider breakfast the meal that you eat in the morning, I consider breakfast as the first meal I eat in a day. I tend to not eat anything for several-many hours after I get up because I am catching up on work and things that need to be done since I went to sleep. So, today for my "breakfast" I had leftover pizza and a coffee cake, with cappuccino to wash it down with. Yes, I know that is strange!
I could never do decaf I like coffee too much. I've also developed a strong tolerance to coffee it doesn't affect my sleep. You've started lifting again, I reckon that'll improve your sleep more than switching to decaf will. But then again caffeine might affect you differently.
I'm about to make breakfast and I'm about to make 3 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast and 1/2 cup of yogurt. I also like to drink a big glass of water and maybe a piece of fruit.
I am never hungry at breakfast time, but I have found that having a protein drink in the morning keeps me going through the day and many times I skip lunch, as well. I do need caffeine in the morning and get it via tea. I used to drink tea all day, but found that by stopping my intake of caffeine around noontime, I do less tossing and turning in bed at night.
Wow, the nutritionists would love you. Sounds like a perfect, all-around breakfast. The experts do say to eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper and you seem to be on track to do just that. I do the opposite, unfortunately.
I don't even know what those our (I live a sheltered life). Do you mean a smoothie that's good for the environment or something like this: This is a serious question, I really don't know what those are. I haven't hear that term before but that might be because I avoid most green things, especially vegetables. Here is me when I see a vegetable: Rahhhhhhhh, a vegetable!!!! .
haha, that's hilarious! You should fall in love with greens, they are good for detox, Vitamin dense too
