    Yes. You are correct. rather than going around to have back links from non related/ low quality website is a waste of time. if you could make some quality back links from the websites of your niche, this will help you the most.

    Use the expired web 2.0 backlink strategy, works every time for me. Scrape expired/dropped web 2.0 sites that have high page authority and many backlinks pointing to them, drop some content on them with a backlink and you are good to rank.

    You can add links to classifieds, web 2.0 websites, submit to directories, participate in forums and discussions, comment on blogs and use social media to create a lot of links, there is no easy way to do this.

    Directory submissions doesn't worth it no more, crappy directories with spammy links will do much more harm than good to your website. Despite if it's a premium directory with real value!
