Best approach for website idea

    Okay im trying to think what would be my best approach for website idea.

    I am creating a online marketing blog, though i also have an idea for a couple of forum threads for discussion. So which approach should i do.

    #1 using a forum like mybb and having the front page the blog portal.

    #2 using wordpress and adding a link to mybb forum.

    #3 using wordpress for both blog and forum

    #4 other (please explain)

    WordPress is probably a bad idea and I'm not going to go into too much detail. But in my experience, it loads 100 times slower than Clean HTML and CSS coded websites not to mention it bloats code.

    I think the idea would be to create a website and write about the topic, add a forum in the navigation bar for discussions but this is a hard thing to do as you would need to build a community such as WarriorForum is a community, digitalpoint is a community ect...
